what are some grindy rpgs?
looking for a grindy medieval fantasy rpg

about as grindy as vanilla wow, but single player with real time combat that isn't ability based or tab targetting some shit, even something like minecraft or skyrim would be fine.

kinda like old gen monster hunter (freedom unite) but you could only really grind for gear which isn't even anywhere as important as player skill

A game that plays like dragons dogma, monster hunter, skyrim but has osrs levels of grinds

does such a game exist?

Skyrim with mods. Download Wabblejack and install whatever modpack catches your eye. Even today there is still nothing better than a good modded Skyrim for RPG purposes.

Or even better. Buy an used meta quest 2 for dirt cheap and play some modded SkyrimVR. Best RPG experience of your entire life. Like, it's not even a competition.

Just flood your game with those newfangled chatgpt bots and they'll talk and socialize more than real people.

>bots + invite a friend
think so, I know you can add bots or invite other humans not sure if you can do both at the same time, you can find guides in the archive or google.

Try “V Rising.” Medieval vampire RPG. Overhead camera but action combat and super grindy.

I’d also keep an eye out for “Light No Fire” which is the procedural fantasy game coming from the No Man’s Sky people.

Although it does not hit all of your points, the closest one I can think of is Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Huge game, tons of content of all kinds, you got grinding too (River Raids mode for all rewards, max out all mastery levels post max level etc.) The world is enormous and the rewards are set in stone - you can obtain all of them, even the Store ones within the game itself without spending real cash. You grind Opals which you exchange at an NPC for a daily selections and weekly selection. They are spread all over the fucking worlds and continents, hundreds upon hundreds of them and in addition that NPC also gives you daily and weekly quests that rewards them.
You can build you character to be a titan smashing through everything solo, nuke everything from range, stealth entire castles or although you said you don't want this but it's still as an option, ability spam those mobs to death. You can also grind fishing for a unique weapon and achievements. Tons of shit to do, you won't get bored.
