Can a series based on this save the Final Fantasy franchise?

as long as square enix is involved in any way there is no way to save this franchise

playing stranger of paradise recently was a real eye opener, the combat was more fleshed out and yet it also felt more like an OG final fantasy game then ff16 or 15 did.
with that said, it was a bit of a bummer how some classes are just kind of bad, like how ninja is just an utsusemi machine because the elemental/shuriken ninjutsu does no fucking damage at all so you spend all your tools on 1 move

It was fucking awful. Did we all play the same game?. Hack died a failed franchise for a reason. I loved everything about this game but couldn't get past the actual game.
I can not grasp the myriad of fans who loved it. Just give me my rollslop FF already.

this game has objectively stronger rollslop then any fromsoft game because it doesn't cost you stamina and there are classes that actively buff you for rollslopping so your followup R1 R2 does more damage. you can just also parryslop, deflectslop, or iframeslop in a few other ways instead because the game has actual combat complexity instead of some guy with a crippling bone disease who takes 20 minutes to swing his sword slowly hacking an anime character to death like in elden ring
