Destruction just felt a little half baked. Did have a good moment where I chipped away at a low concrete wall enough to headshot someone hiding behind it, but mostly we’re still on the age of preapproved walls and floors being able to be detonated and nothing else.

It's shit.

I was on the side of fun until the day before where I just uninstalled the beta a day early. Every other match some tranny with an aimbot. Performance became spotty where every gunfight the frame rate shid and farted and since the bullets are tied to framerate and no settings not even the lowest settings fix the drops the game became very old real quick. I don't give a fuck about the maps I just care about consistency of gunfights more than anything and the game had none.

The bullets aren't objects they're raycasts and it isn't technically tied to frame rate but it's affected by framerate I shouldn't have said tied maybe I should have said something like there is a loss in DPS due to framerate something is tied to frames because when in a gunfight and the game is running smooth it takes 4 hits to down someone if the game is choppy it takes 3 times as many bullets.

i only played battlefield 6 for about two hours and heres my experience

>braindead overpowered spotting letting you laser people through smokes
>retardly low headshot multipliers so everyone just aims for the body and head glitching is extra murderous
>everyone and their mother has a shotgun to ohko with
>after 5 matches i recall maybe 1 instance of a vehicle actually being relevant in the slightest
>literally dont recall any cases of dynamic destruction actually mattering other than when a car suddenly did an aoe blast explosion for being shot too much when i was taking cover
>cant even get on the rooftops without glitching
>buildings crumbling instantly in the same way
>there is no real sense of stealth, you get cheap flanks after running around for 30 seconds
>you cannot go on a sneaky expedition long enough for you to get emotionally invested/get a cool unique memory, it almost instantly gets you facing some people or getting behind a meatgrinder right away

A lot of this has to do with the auto spotting mechanics. It seems to be much stronger than past games, and I suspect that rather than seeing you during the sneaky flank, everyone is just shooting at the orange diamonds and hoping for the best, it's overtuned as fuck.

it's funny how they fucked up spotting while also making it a lot better, the new "spot an area" feature where it shows a tall line is much better than it was in previous games with just a marker on the area. makes it a lot easier to tell where is actually being spotted

Never understand why /v/e hate BF2042 so much and I understand it even less after playing the beta. It's a fun game but it feels very similar to BF2042 which is also a fun game, yet people are acting like it's some huge sea change.
