5070 ti + 9800x3d

9800x3d might be overkill but its a fucking 64.99w cpu which you wont need to upgrade when the 5070 ti gets old

I feel like I always here AMD GPUs have problems. Personally I go with the company that is the leader of their specified tech. So Nvidia GPU with an AMD CPU

Same
I was seriously thinking about going AMD for my last purchase, but I just couldn't get myself to spend that kind of money I just couldn't because I just don't find AMD GPUs reliable

Nice shill posts

While AMD's drivers literally gave 10-15% improvements since launch, NVIDIA owners bitched and moaned about their drivers being unstable this generation

And yet we still have this stupid ass fucking myth going around, stop spouting shit from 2014 if you're somehow not shills

t. unbiased past owner of 2 NVIDIA cards and current owner of RX 7900 XT no issues

I switched from 2070S to 9070XT and I've got no issues. The only crash I had was when I was experimenting with undervolting, which is my own fault.

In fact the drivers are way more stable than all the Nvidia drivers released this year, before I switched to AMD.
It's a far cry from back when I had HD7950, which was an excellent GPU with shitty drivers.

maybe i should just stick with my gtx 960 4gb forever, at least it doesn't have planned obsolescence built in.

supporting geforce now is basically the "you will own nothing" meme made reality. nvidia themselves see it as the future of pc gaming, so they have every incentive to slowly bleed lower/mid tier users out of the market and only reap from the whales with the big gpu sales. the rest is put on geforce now. it is a deal with the devil

Wow im glad we have morons like you two that base their tech purchases on "feelings" and decade old anecdotes. No wonder NVIDIA is able to just shit down our throats the way they do. Why bother fixing drivers that are fucked when your audience will just buy it anyway

"Go with AMD" is just /v/'s version of "install Gentoo".

I have a budget PC. I pay 20 bucks once a year to play a game that needs a 2k dollar card at 4k 120 fps at max settings. Afterwards everything still runs perfectly on my own PC. Why would I nuke over 1k for a card im gonna use 50 hours a year?

I literally shat on Nvidia drivers in my post
