It's not very good
Anonymous No.718419918
It's rather bulky, but it does what I wanted, that is no more frame drops in Zelda games.
Anonymous No.718419973 >>718420174
Why would you even buy one? No worthwhile exclusives apart from Bananza and they're gonna release an improved model in a few years anyway.

you're right, it's great

best nintendo hardware since the gamecube easily

It feels like there's less difference between the Switch 1 and 2 than the DS and the 3DS.

idk its just switch again with worse screen, battery life, and potentially still drift

bananza wasn't even that good, especially when you think about it as a proper mario 3d replacement.
Anonymous No.718420341 >>718420595 >>718421020 >>718421348
I just think it's overpriced
It's a fantastic device build and hardware wise, considering it's a third iteration on the idea the wii U started that isn't very surprising
it's like how tenkaichi 3 and budokai 3 are the best dragon ball games because they're two iterations of an existing game and it just lead to there being insane amounts of polish everywhere
the switch 2 feels like a genuinely premium device and Nintendo doing things like adding back buttons to their controller and even pulling a crazy but still unobtrusive idea out of their ass with the mouse joycons is really interesting
everything just costs too fucking much, for what it costs the internal hardware should've been more powerful
but this is the first system in a long time that actually feels like it's made out of nintendium again

That's not a high bar considering after GameCube they produced the abomination that was Wii.

when do you think will they release lite version? i think the switch 2 is too big, i want a smaller but powerful console
Anonymous No.718420471
it should've either been half the price or had tmr, oled and a battery better than a phone
tendies are charged a premium to buy into an ecosystem that sells cheap to make games at a premium
it's swindling at every turn, there's no value here

I have Sekiro on steam and ps4. I 100%'d it twice. Great game. Would be cool if they ported it to switch. I would triple dip like I did with DS1.

they are actual pcs in a small form factor
what could your definition of a pc be if it doesn't include them
the switch dock does absolutely fucking nothing anyway
it's a glorified usb hub you can get off amazon for 10 bucks

the switch 2 dock has a fan and the firmware that lets it automatically and seamlessly upscale/clock up the device is genuinely impressive
even with the steam deck (dock sold separately btw) it has a lot of niggles docking and undocking that even the switch 1 didn't have

Don't make threads on things you don't like. You are just devoting very limited catalogue space to that thing. I only make like 2 threads a week at most and it's about games I like.

Guaranteed still drift. They literally did not even try to fix it at all. It's the exact same as the Switch. They know a ton of people will just buy replacements.

yeah it's called power limits, welcome to computers, you could adjust them on the fly for almost 2 decades now
the sole valid nitpick i can get from this is that steam doesn't let you make settings presets
the deck doesn't even need to be docked anywhere as much as the switch 2 because it has an actually good screen

Can someone help me understand something? I do have pro controller drift and the analog calibration option fixes it but I noticed the drift comes back after I turn off the console so i figured out the console isnโ€™t saving the calibration settings, forcing me to recalibrate every time just to temporarily fix it. My question is Why? Canโ€™t they just save these settings to my account? Whatโ€™s so hard about that?
