I can say that The Surge 2 is better than Dark Souls and earnestly believe it (which I do) and still know it's a bad take. My actual bad take is that Asterigos is better than Bloodborne and it's not close.

Skyward sword was better when you had to struggle with the motion plus controls

I dunno I feel like knowing they're bad takes just undermines the sentiment of the take itself, basically revealing you know it's a bad take and are just saying it to be inflammatory and not because you know it is an opinion you actually believe in. maybe controversial is the best word for a take that is genuine while not being widely accepted. that said my most controversial take is that overwatch 2 now that it has 6v6 open queue and map voting is better than any state of Overwatch 1
