Loskid is a really fun fight compared to Ursula. I hate how unpredictable Ursula is and she delays random attacks

it's kind of annoying they made her a mandatory mid game difficulty spike boss like pontiff sulyvahn. that fight is actually harder than the actual ursula fight because you have far fewer tools at your disposal at that point.

I never had trouble with the first Hunter of Bladers fight. She only has 1 health bar there and is very easy to dodge

it took me a while to learn her patterns and the 2nd phase is very unforgiving, leaves you virtually no room to heal and you can't run away. you're more or less forced to parry but if you mistime it you die.

i died around 20 times yesterday when fighting the actual Ursula boss. I consider cheating on that boss if i actually want to fight her now on just to get it over with every run, i just died 20 times yesterday there before winning. I'm glad it's a optional boss

Plume Cyclone is Holy Embrace's (the claw weapon you get from exchanging a nucleus with Assis) weapon skill, not the Lightning Tornado spell. It was really good when I remembered to use it during a fight, which wasn't often.

oh ok well it's a rarely used weapon so idk. everyone just uses ethereal beam or ex railgun so they nerfed those which I think is good. now people who didn't beat the game can be forced to beat it properly.

How did they do it?

Cool I guess but if all it does is make enemies deal more damage it won't be worth engaging with. I'd rather wait for the DLC to hit to replay it too.

I just started playing, any non-spoiler tips? I just made it through the forest level. I've been enjoying finding all the little secrets and side areas like getting the electric weapon in the warp zone and all the extras in the forest.
The combat feels pretty bad to me, the shield seems almost entirely useless so I'm just parry fishing bosses now. Using the corrupted blader greatsword since it looks cool

More mecha/robot girl games are required.

i've been spending quite a bit on them, emptied out the rooftop merchant and grabbed quite a lot from the vending machines when I'm sitting on resources and going into a risky area. I try to conserve them when I can

It's worth it. I need to get back to it as well. I finished the first boss off pretty quick, but then had trouble figuring out which area my gear would be best to apply to.
