By the time I jump to 11, I have a copy that has a lot of bloat ripped out, and includes bunch of patches, QOL, and any features/issues ironed out by some programming nerd who gets off on doing that shit. I consider it "obtaining when a complete product"

Ideally anyone could install Windows 8.1 embedded ( its how LTSC used to be called ). It runs on modern AMD/Intel cpus just fine but gpu drivers stopped in 2021.
