Toby had a very good excuse for being gracious with the vore degenerate. He insisted, that any possible removal of his fetishistic creation or hiding it behind an obscure access sequence would be for the degenerate's own good, as it would avoid any possible hate directed his way. But Toby had no way of knowing the game would blow up. So I think it's possible, that he just didn't want this perverse fetish character in the game, since it just doesn't fit with the tone of the game at all. It was clearly incongruent with his vision for the game. He also probably didn't want any backlash directed at himself neither. I also find it mighty convenient how he supposedly avoided talking about the degenerate getting hate later on, because doing so would supposedly drive more hate towards him. It all just seems too convenient. Either way I don't blame him. I wouldn't want that disgusting thing in my game neither. But I'm doubtful about the sincerity of his stated intentions behind the actions he took regarding this character.
