Having to wear glasses is itself a debuff, and a fairly crippling one especially as a young child, kids pick right up on those kinds of differences. The only plus side is that, if you're an adult man, it can make you look slightly smarter in very certain situations.

I knew a dude who looked exactly like this, he had a hot chinese girlfriend despite the fact he was like 5'5. Despite that, I'm so glad I dont look like that because my life would be 100x worse. Confidence really is key.
