Xenoblade Chronicles X is the epitome of this. The wildlife can vary from passive to hostile aggro and the sizes vary from elephant sizes to fucking mecha robot huge size.

If this guy was not acting like literal pray crouching and showing extreme fear and probably making pathetic noises the tiger would not have attacked it and the spectators screaming was probably not helping.
The tiger spend that entire time trying to figure out what he was and why he is in his enclosure but at the same time was probably agitated by the noise of the onlookers.
Its a zoo animal its used to humans if you just act casual around it perhaps even try and do basic interaction he would assume you are another zookeeper.
