Does the 3ds have more soul than the switch and switch 2?

Internet browser that can play videos off it (N3DS only), can play .mp3 files off the SD card with no modification. Hardware based backwards compatibility for OG DS (and GBA with mods), great connectivity with other users via StreetPass. Truly their best handheld.

I didn't really like the 3DS interface. Not that it was ugly, but whenever I changed the icon size it resorted everything which sucked.

Switch 2 is just Switch

perfect illustration of new vs old nintendo is how the ds/3ds handled socializing with swapnote/swapdoodle...the quintessential nintendo weirdness and "enforced fun" that was simultaneously clunky and weird but also charming
whereas with switch 2... well you can purchase a shitty webcam. it kind of works, i guess

How does the switch still not have themes? Its the easiest thing to add and it lets them jew us by charging a couple bucks for them. There's no reason not to.

The answer I always hear is "muh performance." Dearly wish they would bring back social features, but those times are likely over. It's lackluster netcode and smartphone tie-ins for the forseeable future.

Not really. It has about the same quality library and personally I don't really like the UI. Both digital stores suck fucking ass and the whole thing feels like it was slapped together in a weekend.
I'd give the Switch the win if only because it's designed to hook up to a TV. Both systems suck to play mobile IMO.
The OG DS is the last great handheld.

Is there anyone who fixes 3DSs? My camera stopped working so my stable 3D doesn't work.

Yes, as long as by the 3ds you mean the "New 3DS XL (Metallic Blue / Red / Black) with double IPS panel", which is / are the only version(s) worth searching for today, and the most distilled with soul among all handhelds ever made.

It's amazing when hacked:

>if you have a "New" model it can even emulate PS1 games and pretty much every non-3D system
>you can even install completely custom themes
>hShop makes downloading any 3DS game extremely easy
>FTPD to transfer files from your PC to your 3DS wirelessly. Don't even need to take the SD card out
