Third world (South America, Southeast Asia, India, Eastern Europe) cannot afford a Switch 2. So all they do is seethe and gaslight themselves with forced negativity on social media in a loop. The YouTubers and TikTok influencers feed the turd world their sour grapes cope.

Because you invalidated my buying a Switch. Every other console generation has either had a definitive start and end point where the hardware was so different it made sense that the games from the new generation wouldn't work on the current generation. But this? The Switch 2 is what the Switch should have been, and you basically told us that you initially sold us an unfinished prototype, a defective and inferior product. That is why I am pissed.

This for me. I never wanted "more Switch", I wanted something new and interesting. Switch 2 is just the Switch again but stronger and that's not exciting or interesting to me. I'm not going to be getting one, but hopefully the people who wanted the Switch Pro like they'd been talking about for years enjoy it.

No, because the PS2 was a generational leap in every way-hardware, media format, library size, even how games looked and played. It wasn’t pretending to be the PS1 with a slightly faster processor and a new coat of paint. Switch 2 feels like they just slapped a better Tegra chip in there and called it a day. That’s where the comparison breaks down.

Considering the Switch 2 will outsell the super "innovative" Wii U within a few months, I think it's safe to say most people just wanted a more powerful Switch.

I like Switch 2, it’s not the end all be all, but it’s a nice upgrade. I just sell the old one and get the new one for Nintendo and PlayStation consoles. I think I spent like $250 for this upgrade.

I don’t know what people expected, but Donkey Kong was good and Mario Kart was pretty fun. And to me that’s enough. It’ll probably not get used until Metroid 4, but it’s not a big investment to me and I don’t desire it to be something more than what it is. Only thing I’m holding out hope for is Smash.
