I think the difference is that Digital Circus at least knows what it's trying to be, while not taking itself overly serious (even if the drama dumps are getting a bit old at this point), while Vivzie is making her shows to appeal directly to Tumblr, and thinks that making a character swear a lot makes a show more mature, when it just makes it seem childish. The worst thing is that everyone but Kane and Kinger are boring tropey template personalities so the somber parts aren't even interesting most of the time because it feels like I've heard these dialogues dozens of times before elsewhere.

The pacing is also extremely bad in these sections. Weird long pauses and awful silence because there's rarely any music.
