Is this supposed to be Dark Souls or Devil May Cry? cuz I don't think it looks as fun to play as devil may cry. I swear the soundtrack is trying to replicate Metal Gear Rising, but just somehow falls flat and isn't as hype. None of the elements all come together like in that game.

I mean I'm not big on anime design in general, but this game looks particularly uninspired. Like all the newer final fantasy games.

I play lots of games and I still don't know what it is. Possibly: trying to be Devil may Cry + all Kamiya games or Ninja Garden because of air combos. I mean I'm not seeing the OG God of War direction. Not specifically seeing the Dark Souls influence, it was just a guess because China seem to be oversaturating the market with those. But for all I know it could play exactly like Sekiro.

Wukong did something similar about changing how the combat played in a souls-like for it not to be considered a straight up copy and it was effective enough to be debated whether it is one. So it's hard to make out sometimes.

I know what a sub genre is. But at least according to this games description: it claims it wants to mix stylish action (which I assume they mean devil may cry) with an RPG. So what is that? what sub genre is that? it's certainly not the traditional idea of an action RPG. It speaks about combos in a way that I've not seen done in the genre much, I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just I don't know what it's specifically doing. Or at least I fail to remember.
