There's literally nothing to like about it. The games are shit, it has a quarter of the library its competitors do with worst first party titles, the controller is atrocious, the features are lacking or completely absent.

This has been fixed now. You still need to have a boot disc or a mod chip to use it though. I installed a picoboot in less than 5 minutes and the parts were less than 20 dollars. Now I can play gamecube games off an ssd.

Its biggest problem was competing against the ps2
It was just never going to work and it makes sense why they branced off to do the wii after

nothing it was great. it had a nice set of games. people keep pearl clutching when discussing its flaws but it's not like the ps2 xbox or dreamcast were flawless. remember the ps2 had the emotion engine which was hell to use.

shitcube games should have costed $90 a piece since the devs had to print multiple of those little gay discs to account for the console's DRM
