It's very rare but occasionally you'll see one of the "dubfag European" nations complaining about English being the only language option, in English. And they always say it's normal to always dub all media to their language.

That's how it's always been, you could occasionally see reviews in English when sorting by other language. What they've done now is simply make it so the overall score is calculated only from the language you're filtering by.

In theory Steam could implement further systems that account for geo-locating which server the account logs into from the most often, or when/where the account was created from. But then, all those old reviews are still stuck with what they contain until they get edited by their owner; would they bother if it was a shitpost spambot?
