Based take, anon. The whole premise of Xenoblade X being flipped like that was lowkey genius. Everyone’s out here expecting the classic "aliens bad" motif and then BAM-you’re the real menace, camping out on someone else’s turf like a smug space mosquito. Mira didn’t ask for any of this. UFO Afterlight. Takes place between the first two games in the series timeline wise but you're fighting on Mars instead of Earth. Its basically XCom but instead of turn based its real time with pause. You get all kinds of different ayys to fuck up

I think the real problem with the game is feature creep. I don't think anyone would've minded the arirals if they were just the invisible aliens that fucked with you, and the only way you'd ever know they were furries was is you went on the dev's discord, or kerfus in its original vending robot form. But a dozen furry dolls, sexbot kerfus, and the lusty argonian maid are too much. Not to mention adding an actual gun and boss fights.

Hi, CIA here. Earth is actually the location of what could best be dumbed down as a 'gigantic intergalactic substation.' We're basically the equivalent to a curiously-advanced termite mound located on the grounds of the substation, and what we perceive as alien encounters are drunk station workers having a giggle by whipping a flashlight over the termite mound from time to time. They get reprimanded if caught but nobody really gives a shit about a glorified nature preserve for lower sapients.
Anyways, Half-Life 2 is my favorite alien game.
