I always hear people lament the fact that capcom canceled mega man legends 3. Ive never played any of the games in the series. are they all worth playing or is there a specific game that people hold dear?

There's only two games bro. Well, there's Tron Bonne's game but nobody talks about that one.
They're very janky and product-of-its-time kinda deal but the charm is there, if you can stomach N64 Zeldas you can play these.

They're all good and build up the elements people love most about these games. 1 and 2 have a distinct structure which makes them interesting to play. Also try that little demo that got translated.

The games are full of PS1 soul. The gameplay is okay.
Legends 1 has most soul, Tron Bonne is a fun variety game
Also, the japanese songs are bangers

If you like the first game, you should check out Misadventures of Tron Bonne and then MML2. It's a very charming game which is why people still talk about it today.

It's lamented because they pull a huge twist at the 80% point in 2 and then ended the game on a fucking cliffhanger where nothing is resolved or explained
