>but it has strongly outperformed the initial release of Killing Floor 2
This statement is entirely false.
Killing Floor 2 released April 21st, 2015 with a peak of 20,435 on Steam alone with an average of 11,216 players. Current 24h peak is 6,064. KF2 only dropped to around 3,671 average players after the first month due to lack of content.
Killing Floor 3 released July 24th, 2025 with a peak of 21,934 on Steam and an average of 12,915 that VERY quickly dropped to around half at 6,463 within the first week. And it's current 24h peak is a staggering 2,671.
KF3 only barely had more people playing the game at launch that it was entirely negligible. The vast majority of those people either quit or refunded the game. Not only did KF2 completely outperform in it's first month and had people actually playing it, it released with way less content. It very much did not out perform KF2 on launch.
>b-b-b-but kf2 is b-b-b-botted
Stop using this pathetic cope. There is no actual proof of the game having thousands of bots, and even if it did, any bot hosters would be losing money. One glance at the marketplace and you'll see people aren't buying anything. Nobody wants to buy one of the hundreds of thousands of USBs or woodland skins everybody has.
>b-b-but the server browser
At least KF2 has one, and has had one since day 1. Most people play solo, on private servers, or custom servers with increased player caps.
Embracer stole your money. This game will die and inevitably go offline because it's a shitty online-only ue5 cash grab that is only Killing Floor in name alone.
Stop making these pointless threads. The game is bad. Everyone knows it's bad. The only people that play it are retarded console normies with no taste and low standards who will quickly jump to the next thing after a month.
