I can't do Torment. I'm using the recommended team but his first beam hits my dHina, killing her before she can fire the first shot. In the videos, she isn't hit.

Are you following a video example, or just winging it with a copied team comp? Sometimes you need to do some suboptimal shit to make the raids clear, like firing the main DPS EX without the buffs, but that makes it so your NEXT rotation is buffed and overlaps with some other actions, etc.

The new bosses are ADDED to the rotation. The old one remains. Plus, this is a whole new(ish) mode, where the boss comes in three different armor type flavors.

You mean TOR? I think TOR has a different attack rotation. But it's a fixed pattern, instead of being randomized like on lower difficulties. Or something like that. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh, yeah. There's the factor of cover breaking or not breaking on Binah. Which affects your positioning. Although, it's usually resolved after the very first attack which hits the cover. After that the positioning should be stabilized. Akane's speed also depends on her skill level (and her accessory? don't remember). So check your skill levels against the video.
Sometimes, his first shot goes to Akane, which puts the barrel on fire and makes her reposition. This fucks up the entire fight.
If I restart until it no longer happens, I can go up until he pukes the second time. Swimsuit Hoshino dies and I get fucked. I'm even using a borrowed sHoshino that is maxed out instead of my own.
