There are extremely subtle hints throughout the game that may indicate that Dr.Cahn might not be the friendly trustworthy fellow that we all know and love.

The Crowbar 2.0 is overpowered against the soldiers, I feel like I'm cheating when I rush them with it. I mean I could use my grinder with its resource hungry ammo or I could just spend zero ammo and get a guaranteed kill instead.

To be fair, the flashlight "attachments" for both the security pistol and scrapshot were just normal crafting bench crafts before enhancing table was introduced.
If you set up in Torii / windows xp land the game should let you tell the random npcs around the game to go there for safety. Which unlocks a base management thing for some basic automation.

Why are some of the trams so close together? The one for the mines and the one for the train portal are only a short jog from one another.
I made a makeshift toilet purely to collect craps for crafting. But it feels silly and disgusting when an actual toilet is in my base. I bet the smell is awful in my home.

Just outside his window there's a huge tank of pure water. You can refill three water coolers with it, which is weird because it's right near a huge radioactive liquid spill but it's fine to drink.

There's one for liquid crystal in the same area. It's the easiest of the three to get to, basically the second door on the right as you enter the lab proper from office shortcut.
Nvm, after a very stressful expedition into the Cascade Labratory (I didn't bring any food or water and the thorn xorn enemy messed with me) the Leyak is actually a huge pushover.
