What really amuses me is that even if you do pay to use it, they still spam you with ads for Nitro and other bullshit. I figured I'd do it for a community server I ran, but literally cut the subscription because they kept spamming me with ads whenever I opened it. That's not even getting into the sponsored bots they try to encourage users to let monitor and send out more ads in servers.

Because like most 'free' services you are the product and anything you give them can be used however they see fit.
