"Wizard" in nerd terminology is someone who knows how to do shit and can help you figure out why deleting command.com made your computer not boot.
Wizards in the sense of install/uninstall/configuration wizards guide you through the process of selecting whether you want Flying Toasters or Johnny Castaway as your screensaver like the retard you are, while the wizard does the heavy lifting of configuration.

Since when? Even with Horde taking center stage more often than not, Alliance has been kind of a wallflower who are there and come to help clean up the mess that Horde usually starts by accident or being tards

Yes. Private servers are completely free and I'd recommend downloading Acsension launcher. Try the Ascension weird fun servers and try the Project Epoch's Classic+ content. That or Retail WoW is technically free till 20 but Retail WoW sucks cock so maybe don't be a fag.

I think Epoch is going to need another year or two to really come into it’s own.
The custom content is pretty unsubstantial, but what is there is pretty good. At the moment it’s pretty much just vanilla with TBC talents on a better client, which is cool but nothing to go crazy over yet.

Turtle wow has excellent custom zones like northshire or gilneas, but you dont reach those untill lvl 30+/40+.
I dont know on horde, but on the alliance you dont start doing "classic+" content untill you see a bunch of extra questlines on westfall with added wings on deadmines.

On epoch on the other hand, has really neat intro reworks with the custom zones for gnomes and trolls, and the revamped goldshire.
People notice the classic + right away
then, there's barely nothing right after those areas.

As for gameplay goes, Turtle wow has custom class revamps like rogue support dps, melee hunter, and epoch is just slightly tweaked tbc.
From a balance standpoint, sure, tbc is better (specially in pvp, since turtle pvp is unbalanced af), but i'm sort of tired of just tbc again and again, and playing a spell power paladin seems more "unique" to me right now.

So with all of this, i choose turtle.
most "fresh" experience players never get past lvl 30 though so i'm guessing that's why epoch is popping right now.

This is what I've always wanted. A sandbox RPG in WoW... Hell, if I could, I'd make my own private server. More densely packed cities and towns, more people, use AI to have parties of adventurers go out around town so the player never feels alone.

Haven't played WoW for over a decade. Epoch shilling here got me interested. Followed the drama for 3 weeks, it consumed me. Finally get to play and after about 12 hours I realise I'm not interested any more. Its a bitter sweet feeling to back in that world.

durotar has extra quests in razor hill and a completely new goblin port town in the northwest (which also keeps sprinkling quests all around the worst as you level up but without a quest addon you'll never think to visit the town to check)
mulgore has extra quests in bloodhoof and a small questing hub in the mountains in the northwest that connects to the barrens/stonetalon border

I've only played both for a little bit but epoch feels a lot better so far, the added stuff feels polished and fits in perfectly. Also better client.

For me? It's firestorm since it's the only up to date WoW retail pirate server i know of, i haven't heard of any other popular server with latest expansion and all content available

Though right now i'm introducing my boyfriend to WoW so we're playing all races origins in Free Trial WoW account since in private servers they are usually bugged. I have to show him Goblin start today! We just erped but didn't get to do quests.

Just play both because it's free. Turtle's new content is really good and the team finally make 2006 era Blizzard content. 30-45 doesn't feel like a slog anymore thanks to new zones.

Verdict is still out on Epoch desu, the first 20 or so levels are very polished with new Goldshire/Razor Hill and Deadmines/Wailing Caverns, but most of the rest is the same besides Glittermurk dungeon in STV and new quests/few new hubs.

I'm playing Epoch and prefer it over Turtle's botted player count however Epoch is one of those "soon to be good" kinda deals. Everyone wanted it to just launched even with bugs and it has. Needs more polish but what's there is still very soulful to classic content and quite enjoyable.
