Tokusatsu isn't used in mainline SRW because they'd have to pay for the original actors' likeness, W, Gridman and Ultraman only got in because they have anime sequels/spinoffs which is where they're officially pulling from, hence why it's not labaled as Kamen Rider W but Fuuto PI instead.

When you see W, Skull and Accel unhenshined in cutscenes they'll be using their anime apperances. We've seen Super Sentai in the mobile games but they're limited time events with recycled voice clips and they never appear unmorphed.

Who knows? Still bizarre because at this point Digimon isn't like your typical kids series in the same vein Pokemon is, and there is a lot of /m/echa in it. XROSS WARS was in that regard a love-letter to mecha (still a missed opportunity for Shoutmon X3 to work in the same vein as Getter Robo, with even having a Dorulumon and Ballistamon X3).
