Gacha games have no place on /v/
To be clear, I don't hate anime. They’re basically predatory gambling mechanics wrapped in anime slop. They aren’t “games” in the traditional sense.
On top of that, the bulk of them are just softcore porn aimed at desperate nerds who want to larp with a digital girlfriend rather than an actual gaming experiences. It's predatory and has no place on a board for discussing actual video games. We make fun FIFA Ultimate Team for this exact reason, but weebs get a pass because their slot machine has anime on it?
They are the lowest common denominator anime slop. Theyre menu-navigating chores with barely any gameplay to speak of. They are designed to be as minimally interactive as possible to ensure you can "play" them while watching Netflix or taking a shit. They're all mobile-oriented and made for jeets. They are the antithesis of everything /v/ should value: gameplay, design and artistry.
They are just softcore porn galleries for salarymen with 12 hour shifts to collect their unerotic waifus. The "game" is just the barrier to accessing the virtual equivalent of NFT's in compromising outfits. It's pathetic. It floods the board with low-effort porn threads and cringe Reddit-tier waifu spam that belongs on /trash/ or some containment board. /v/ is for discussing video games, not for chink games made for the lowest of coomers to post their 50th thread about some generic highschool idol's bikini skin that cost's 300 dollars.
Ban them. They're gambling, they're not games, and they attract the worst kind of poster.
