And are somehow capable of making a mockery of every developer on the planet.

The biggest problem with making games is the amount of time they require, even for those that are easy to program. When I made a dating sim, I worked 12-14 hours a day every day (Sunday and Saturday too) for three months, and in the end I had a dating sim that the player could finish in 2 hours.

TOTK is a primitive game when compared to what you have on your PC. My nephew plays one where you can build functional naval vehicles piece by piece and program all the logic behind how they operate. That makes the 18 pieces stuck together in TOTK look like a joke.

why is it that every time I see a screencap of this faggot, he's always complaining about his job that nets him like 100 millions every year? Is it even so hard when you release a game once every 10 years if at all?

There are actually quite complex puzzles because there are missions to rescue other vehicles. You have to plan the rescue, operate complex machines, and in some cases build appropriate machines.
It's a little more advanced than picking up korok seeds, I can guarantee that.
But people stuck in the Nintendo world have no idea about these things. They really think that those shallow games for mass consumption are some kind of achievement.

Feel free to post a better designed game than BotW when you feels like. Reminder, Nintendo coded that on a fucking Wii U.

Still no MSRP. No way they're charging $80 when Bananza was $70 and had much more content.

I'm really tired of his "oh woe is me!" routine. What other dev complains about having to do their job all the time like he does?

What puzzles are you solving in TotK? Spending 20 minutes building a rube goldberg machine to ferry a Korok on a two minute journey isn't a puzzle btw.

>why so le hard
This bitch makes literally nothing all day, his drones come to him with all the work done, genuflect at his desk and he just goes "hmm maybe do it like this" and the drone goes back in shame to his desk.

His games are shit and he wouldn't survive a day in a coal mine.

Fuck you Sakurai.

>a third of the content.

This is what Smashfags want. Ever since Ultimate, all they can talk about is how they want the next Smash to have way less content. They speculate about cuts to content instead of new characters now. They're the ultimate contrarians.

>You gave us a ton of content? We hate that. Give us way less.

content creep is what slow-killed smash in the first place. The series went from being a lean, fast experience in Melee to a bloated, floaty, dual-layered advertisement for Twilight Princess with Brawl. one of the more obvious examples of More =/= Better in modern AAA games.

he's not trying whine or brag, he just shares a lot more than the average jap developer. he goes into a lot of unnecessary detail about the process and very in-depth explanation of all the gameplay mechanics. he's autistic like that.

I think that's just his personality and we expect him to complain at this point, it's charming. I bet at Nintendo they tell him to keep doing it when he appears in public.
