The 2 most popular paths are Ostim standalone (more vanilla) or Sexlab (degen)
I think you can use both if you want but I never tried so unsure
Then you can get the body replacers (CBBT, etc) and physics
Then you can get the animations and the stuff that initiates them
Then you can get other addons

Not sure if bait but I've used Vortex and MO2 both. MO2 is better almost solely by the fact that instancing is 1000% better and doesn't actually fuck with the Skyrim folder itself, the UI is much easier to work with because Vortex trips over itself trying to be as "user friendly" as possible resulting in it being an unnavigable mess. That being said, if you don't mod often, heavily, or just use modpacks, then yeah Vortex is just fine.

I am, actually. I've made myself a little harem of video game waifu and anime girls, like Nel, Morrigan from Dragon Age, Triss, Samus, Shani, Tifa, and Bayonetta among others. Right now I'm trying to solve a little error message I get with Fertility Mode to make sure my girls can get pregnant when they finally let me hit.

Also trying to see if I can get the girls to engage in sex or be enslaved by an NPC. I think getting Farengar to enslave my girls while he gets me to do his bleak falls barrow fetch quest like an errand boy might be fun. The Follower Slavery Mod I installed should work, but I have yet to try it yet. Apparently the longer I take to rescue my companions the more likely the chance for me to return to them pregnant by Farengar increases. I'm gonna try and complete the dungeon quickly, so I don't return to find them all impregnated by that smug, arrogant Nord nerd.

Does anyone have any suggestions for mods like that, which might make the process of slavery more streamlined?
caveat: it would have to work in Skyrim VR, the mods I'm using work mainly with Ostim/Osex, can't seem to get sexlabs to work unfortunately.

I might consider sex mods if the animations were decent and it were integrated decently. Not just defeat and a dialogue option to fuck your way out of being caught by a guard. There is no reason to use LE in 2025. SE runs better and pretty much every mod for LE has been ported to SE or has a better version for SE. If there is a mod you want for LE that isn't available for SE then you can probably port it yourself no issue using a couple of tools. If you don't want the CC content just downgrade to 1.5.97.

Non-lore friendly third person animations usually use Open Animation Replacer, Modern Combat Overhaul or BFCO, Precision and similar mods. And you have to run Pandora or Nemesis every time you add/delete movesets to your load order. The cuhrazy animations themselves are usually from chink modders. Some are free but those DMC anims are most likely locked behind a paywall

I want to mitigate the bland effect of "walk at each other and swing until dead." The player can kinda choose to just not do that but the AI is persistently obvious about its stupidity. Can I make a decent "duelist" character? Like an active sidestep that won't just get hit anyway by a magnetized enemy that turns with my movement midswing. Or parry and riposte. This shit must be unstable as fuck and even popular modpacks need extensive testing by the community before they're considered stable enough. Don't say skill issue because mods are poorly documented and have a lot of unexpected behaviour that's impossible to predict ahead of time. Some crashes are random and impossible to diagnose, they might as well never happen for the 20 hours. Do you actually look at logs to determine what kind of instability you have and if it's even instability and not a random crash like modpack fags waste so much of their time on?

There's only so many serious modded RP playthroughs you can do without it feeling the same as the last one. Basically, you can't fix the combat with fancy animations, dodges, or fancy parries. You simply want to improve the foundation of what's already there.
Fantasy Environmental Effects and Resistances and Weaknesses, gives each enemy strengths and weaknesses that can be exploited like in DnD or Dragon's Dogma. For example, Ghosts are immune to mundane weapons, but weak to silver.
Improved Camera makes it so you can see you arms and your torso in first person, which lends to more immersion both in and out of combat
Paulicius rewards you for using your shield by allowing you to block poisionous strikes if your shield is raised.
Next Gen Decapitations, Dismembering Framework, Simple Block Sparks, Stagger Effect Fix, and Precision add some much needed impact to the combat. The lengths of the weapons now feel distinctive, the stagger effects are correct from a physics standpoint, metal clashing against metal creates sparks, and you can literally see you weapon tearing through your opponents. Optional hitstops from Precision also represents the irl momentum lost when two objects collide.

Attacks interrupt bows and Bows can break adds some much needed depth and stakes to ranged combat. You can now punish NPC Archers by quickly closing in and then attacking them, preventing them from shooting you. Likewise, NPCs can close in on you and destroy your bow if you're positioning is bad.
Smart NPCs means enemy NPCs will actually use potions to heal, allowing them to stay in combat for longer.

Machinima style animations with badly animated characters no-clipping into each other does nothing for me. Even mainstream games that are made with sexual content aren't worth the effort. And then there are animations, not the nsfw stuff, just idle animations that sounds nice. Viola you get sent into the rabbit hole of FNIS and similar .exes

How long realistically would I spend getting all the mod shit set up for the new gameplay, graphics, and all the rape stuff? And are those mutually exclusive due to compatibility?

This is my third attempt at modding up a decent game. It's a lot of learning and trial and error and most people won't offer much help because they'd rather gatekeep to make themselves feel special about their mod lists.
Some tips:
Load order is huge, always put XP32 at the bottom, careful about incompatibilities, ALWAYS read requirements on every single mod, read those requirements requirements, and the requirements requirements requirements etc. Load up your game after every single mod to make sure it's not breaking things.
