/v/ is only good when its thread/hour is low
during peak american hours the thread per hour becomes like 90+ at which point making actual discussion threads is worthless because they'll just die if you don't ragebait the fuck out of them

Oh wait, that's just a traditional forum. This place and this site in general are completely unusable for hobby discussion anymore.
4chan had a sharp decline in daily traffic after the outage. Threads on /v/ being actively bumped for days was unheard of prior.
It didn't do much for the quality of the board.
