her hitboxes are bad, nothing else to say about it. Many other bosses have some moves where you can get more damage by dodging rather than parrying, but eigong has several attacks that will hit you from behind

The third phase anime slash is a literal meme. You will get hit by it once or twice because its unreactable bullshit, but now you memorized and will never get hit again

not a problem in of itself, but they should have made her massively more dynamic and threatning in exchange of lower health. Unless your brain struggles with "press 1 button to deflect attack repeatedly" and/or you havent played sekiro, the only thing that actually makes her harder than some preceding bosses is her healthbar being bigger

Her HP feels high only on first dozen of attempts.
Without the anime slash 3rd phase would be too easy with how little hp she has, and the fight wouldn't be as satisfying.
Regarding bad hitboxes that hit you from behind. I didn't really notice anything like that, but that probably depends on which specific way you respond to her moves.
