One of the most underrated games ever?

The puzzles are a bit too easy.
The story is predictable, but engaging.
Only the philosophy makes it stand out and Milton being a fun character.

I think the sequel was better, because the philosophical main question was actually interesting and meaningful, and I admit that my expectations were subverted in what ideas the game would put forward.

Nah I liked the feeling of absolute isolation that the first gave. The sequel never grabbed me enough to get past the second area and I just kind of fell off it

I also prefer the first game for the isolation, though some of the philosophical quandaries from some of the bots were pretty interesting to think on.
And I dunno if I was just primed from the first game but the puzzles felt a lot easier, I think I only got stuck once or twice (excluding the gay spot the pixel 'secret puzzles')

I liked the puzzles, the timer clone mechanic I find annoying. I don't know shit about the story, I chose to play with Serious Sam as the narrator
