The protagonist’s character design is almost completely devoid of individuality, and even the heroine’s design is unimpressive her only defining trait is simply being a “little girl.” Beyond that, she is practically a blank slate with no personality whatsoever. Even gacha games manage character design better than this. The gameplay itself feels crude and poorly made, and the game as a whole lacks any distinct “art style” it’s just filled with generic sci-fi buildings and enemies, with nothing that stands out.
On top of that, even when watching the trailer, it’s impossible to tell what the game is about or what its goal is, making it feel like an unfinished alpha build with no clear identity. Something explodes, the protagonist runs toward somewhere, but none of it carries any meaning. What’s worse, even the developers seem aware of how lackluster the protagonist’s design is, as they showcase the heroine more prominently than the supposed main character emphasizing her more than the game itself.
How could any of this possibly be considered a “positive” in game design? Wake up.
