Making a game takes a lot of effort and usually making a second game fails to capture lightning in a bottle a second time. It's a hard act to follow up
I can guarantee you that every dev worth their salt has made way more than 1 game, you just don't see the ones that never were enough to make a splash. Even if they were significantly smaller in scale

This is unironically a good thing. Make game, fuck off from the internet, enjoy residuals from steam sales. What is even more based is releasing the source code before the game becomes abandonware, for when steam finally implodes.
