I know some of the events in this episode were controversial, but I loved it. Piecing together everything that happened using the Mason System was incredible.

2-4 is my favorite because the excitement comes less from figuring out exactly what happened and more from wondering what will happen next. The tension is unmatched. Also, it's been a while but I'm pretty sure Phoenix accomplished this one on his own rather than having Mia bail him out as usual

Legacy is the best turnabout in the entire franchise. Not by a lot, but it's there at the top for myself with how it ties into the entire franchise.

Honestly? It's hard for me to say but I want to say 1-4, 3-5, 5-3, 6-2, AAI2-3, and GAA2-2 are all up there, at the very least I consider those the best cases of each of those games?

Legacy is everything that's wrong with AAI2, first because of it's try hard nature of being the case that sets off everything in the PW storline, the total shit from the massive plothole of how did she hide the body for all those years, let alone how did the cops not check the freezer during the initial investigation.
Even more another it pulled a white washing of Von Karma where he's an asshole who does anything to win, but the penalty wasn't his fault because the new OC Donut Steal big bad was the one who forged the autopsy report and put Von Karma in a position to do it.

I miss when Edgeworth was a corrupt asshole who did anything to get a convention, but Wright pulled him from the abyss to realize the truth was more important than a win.
