Freezeman almost ruins the entire damn game with that stupid fucking "deep sorry you can't continue unless you have a ZapRing B, and you can't buy that from any of the shops either! Guess you're fucked and gotta grind the same enemies for an hour!

The issue with all MMBN games is that the challenge peaks too soon, when you still have limited options and have to rely on pure skill to fight rather than stacking your deck and popping off turn-1 program advances that clear the board. From there, it comes down to "how soon does CrapCom start introducing aura shit to the bosses" which is the exact moment any MMBN game has truly fallen off.

No 4 has way worse segments freezeman is bad but its not as bad as sparkman if its on your final new game plus its becomes a tedious looking for a randomly generated code to be able to use your actual folder instead of the garbage one they force on you that didn't scale with ng+ making it a slog.

toyrobo comp is easily a more frustrating experience. at least freezeman's scenario is a one and done thing; you have to go through that fucking amusement park three times with one of the worst dungeons tracks in existence.
