Is it pedobait or actually good?
Rape scenes and other controvertial aspects seem to make this game a fetishist's dream but is there actual depth in a game like this? Story, characters, themes etc?

Nope it's your classic (since at least the 80s) JRPG that fucks you unknowable secret endings. Literally if you walk past a place without going in the building it skips entire encounters that are needed to beat the game.
And obviously it's pedobait that's what is was designed as. Do you actually think people make RPGmaker games for anything other than the story(porn)?
