Switch 2 is the new base system.

Does the game really require that high of a spec? It doesn't look any better than Uncharted 4. I guess this is just another proof that video games can't really go beyond PS4-level graphics.

I cant play it on my steam deck, but I can play uncharted 4 on my steam deck so yes.

This is one of the premier reasons Im ditching my deck btw.

specs have been a meme since around 2015, graphics have basically degraded since, and spec advancement has just been people paying more for tech so devs can optimize much less.

It could barely run Expedition 33, I needed to download mods for that. And it cant run wuchang, another game I was looking to play. Theres more games I wanted to play that it cant run but ive already forgotten.

I don't think everything will come to Switch 2 even if it sells like 150-200 million or whatever. If you want third party games you'll still need to pirate them for free on PC same as it ever was

The big thing is that it has built-in RTX as a part of the global illumination by engine. The Switch 2 can handle this because it has RTX and DLSS built in - the Steam Deck cannot, short of workarounds and hardware-agnostic solutions. Odds are you will see a Doom The Dark Ages port if Indiana Jones proves itself, because it's the game overall gist of requirements. Doom at least seems to run quite well besides the forced RTX hurdle.

My PC can't really run it good either, but I also feel like I'd rather wait until I upgrade my PC to play it over getting it on Switch 2, especially since it's 100% going to be a key-card game.

Game is uses ray tracing with no option to turn it off. Faggots will most likely replace all the ray tracing will baked lights for the switch port

Yes, but it's more of a statement on how shit the optimization for the PC port was, which is a running theme nowadays. The Series S runs the game pretty decently, só the Switch 2 shouldn't have any problems dealing with it.

It's going to be a game key card just like the rest of the of them. Unless they decide to do what they did with the PS5 version and not even bother with anything other than digital only.
