I still don't understand people that compare Lies of P with Sekiro

I did like 20-30 parries in Lies of P, including the DLC, and I died just a few times, even the last boss I beat in 2 tries

You can beat Sekiro without parrying but it's practically a challenge run that only masochists do, meanwhile only dodging in Lies of P is the same difficult or even easier than parrying. It isn't a necessity like in Sekiro

cause if it has defense mechanics that makes it slop

Both games have attacks that can't be dodged, only parried, that have a special tell. That's it.

Not being able to iframe something doesn't mean it can't be dodged. Just get out the way instead of going through the opponent's body

I don't think just dodging is easier than parrying, primarily because of the stagger you're losing out on giving you fewer exploitable downs
But despite its roots, Lies of P really isn't that difficult of a game, bosses don't have a lot of HP and there are a lot of tools to help with every aspect of the game so even casuals can pretty leisurely get to the end of the game
