Vincent did nothing wrong

It seems like morally ambiguous people can pierce further into the veil in Silent Hill but inevitably get roped into its schemes. It would be cool to see a game take on the presence of the ambitious strangers like Vincent and watch some of them become part of the Order or hunt you or etc.

I don't quite follow the sequence of events, and I think the game is very rushed. Why is Vincent seemingly following Heather around, then apparently hops in a car to travel to Silent Hill to bother her some more? Every time we see him, he doesn't seem to be going anywhere and is just chilling in some room. Heather also does a lot of teleporting around later in the game as well.

I feel the events of the game are muddled and the game is heavily rushed.

The game was extremely rushed, and they split development of the sequel into two teams: SH3 and SH4 making them at the same time. Sh3 was mostly the SH2 team while SH4 was mostly new people which is why they play and look so different.

Given the time frame of 18 months they did an excellent job making something cohernet.

But if you pay attention to the narrative and story, it's a mess, with characters popping around and teleporitng.

It's long suspected that the original story draft was too dramatic for Konami and they reworked it into a the sequel story we got.

I think the original draft is a teenage pregnant girl running away, who doesn't have any connection to Harry Mason.
