If it is Poppy that means the Prototype can't be Elliot Ludwig like people thought, he has to be someone else, since Poppy still remembered Ludwig while he was alive.
According to the dream sequence, the body of a boy was found in Ludwig's house. 1006 also says that there was an Ollie, but that was a very long time ago.
To me at least it points to him being another orphan, just an exceptionally smart one.
