Because when you can move and attack it’s an inherently more aggressive combat system. Roll spam is 1 dimensional as it gets and worst of all, a defensive combat system. Rolling fucking sucks and a kusoge Iike dark souls 3 is 95% rolling, forget level design or weird mechanics, it’s rollspam all the way down

Not really, a dedicated roll button makes the combat faster and more aggressive. Backing away is inherently clunky, and feels slow.

In dark souls one you have other defensive options like blocking and parrying. Or running away from the enemy

Just because they were both made by From doesn't mean they comparable, OP. The Souls games may have borrowed some design philosophies from Shadow Tower and King's Field, but the actual gameplay is so different that comparing them is just nonsense.

This game sucks ass.
It is basically asset flip tier.
The level design is garbage.
The combat feedback is even worse.
The only appeal is the monster variety for the PVP, but most only have a couple jerky and shitty animations. And the appeal is just in the novelty of someone including that, rather than the main campaign's quality.
You watched some Youtube vid about this game and now larp as some kind of enlightened critic. But this is as shallow as it gets. The game is shit and everyone at release knew it was shit.
