There's been a pretty noticeable vibe shift at WF starting with shantae right now. Their games have always been cute but they've never really added more titillation beyond that. Now we've got skimpier outfits and more pronounced jiggle. Makes me wonder if a hypothetical RCG3 would have pantyshots.

Not at all. I'm genuinely astonished Wayforward just lets Bozon do what he wants given the state of the rest of the company. It's kind of a weird dance they do, though, honestly. Like, WF clearly lets Bozon do whatever because Shantae makes them money and the few diehard fans the series has would go up in fucking flames if they ever tampered with it, but they clearly wouldn't put up with it if they didn't have to, yet they are also blind to what makes them money all at the same time. It's baffling. How can you see sex selling in real time and then try to act like you're above it while still selling it.

They have ported GBC to PlayStation and people have been pestering WF about putting it on Steam and Xbox for years. What’s actually going on is LRG made the port so they have control of where it goes. Currently it’s not profitable to do limited physical runs of the game on those platforms so they’re gonna hold off on porting it until it is.
