The PSN store is still usable as well if you load your account with money from your PSN account app

I agree the exclusives are good and the multiplats are fine (usually)

But most of these remasters are downgrades particularly the dmc remaster trilogy since dmc3 crashes and sometimes cutscenes just black screens. Sotc remaster significantly improves performance though, so a lot of people would probably prefer that version.

I keep mine around primarily for House of the Dead 3 and 4, Time Crisis 4 + Razing Storm, Deadstorm Pirates, Dead Space Extraction and other rail shooters. The Playstation Move is great.

And Ridge Racer 7 that's a banger.

Resistance Trilogy is still locked it to it. 1st game is kinda weak but the 3rd is a masterpiece.

PS3 emulation is still all over the place. Some games emulate really well, others are total crashfests. At the moment I'd say it's still worth getting a PS3 if you want to properly dig into the library beyond Demon's Souls and MGS4.

Folklore, rune factory tides of destiny, white knight chronicles 2 (comes packages with white knight chronicles 1, your progress from 1 carries over to 2), tales of xillia (original not the modern remaster), disgaea 3, demon's souls, MGS4, sports champions (if you have the move controllers), the killzone series, infamous and especially Infamous 2 (some progress carries over from 1 to 2 but only partially), Valkyria Chronicles, Resonance of Fate, The Last of Us (OG version not censored changed or retconned like later versions), Dragon's Crown, Dragon's Dogma, Tokyo Jungle, Catherine, Final Fantasy XIII-2 (playable in a bubble, best of the XIII series)... honestly tons of them.

I'm gonna be honest the change I noticed with Lollipop Chainsaw is Toni Basil's absence. Which is a big loss in "vibe" but it's fine otherwise.

The kids who grew up during that gen are now posting here. Its also a pretty divisive gen since one the one hand, its genuinely good and incredibly popular, but millenials who simply checked out of gaming at that time because they were to old and lazy to play anymore decided to shit on it

Yes, it's one of the best PS3 games to emulate. Can play at 60 FPS, cranked resolution, and it has working online with a private server which includes features for managing world tendency. No crashes or anything, it works just as well as on console.

You can skip to 3. Although id personally recommend playing in this order; nier > drakengard 1 > drakengard 3

If you play drakengard 3 on am actual ps3 drop the resolution to 720 or lower you will thank me later, it improves performance significantly

What he won't tell you is that the physics are broken, lighting is busted and that your weapons are vibrating like a dildo and much more. PS3 emulation is inherently flawed because the POWAH OF DA CELL cannot be properly emulated. PS3 emulation at it's best is something you can only play while squinting your eyes and not thinking at all because the moment you look closer for 1 second you'll be thrown out of the immersion by the numerous graphical glitches and whatnot.
Also the PS5 version is the better version honestly. I say this as someone who has played both.

Using the 60 FPS patch messes with the physics the same as doing so with original Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne, yes, but in practice it just means you can't do the Regenerator's Ring skip in 4-1. Everything else you're just completely full of shit on, I have real hardware to compare against with plenty of time on both and the lighting is correct. There is a setting somewhere in RPCS3 that does fuck it up, but it shouldn't be enabled by default.
