I always got the impression that Caiman wasn't really a bad guy at all but just had a wife and kids back home on Venom and needed to support them. I hope he got out of Area 6 alive.
This was just the perfect rental game back in the day. I remember only placing 7th amongst others in my general area but I was still proud of myself. It helps that playthroughs only take one sitting.

When the Gigaleak happened and the audio was revealed in its complete uncompressed form I never had even considered that the N64 files were compressed. The slight fuzzy sound just suited "talking over comms".

For me it's because the game really immersed me as being Fox, so it feels like James is talking straight at me as a father figure. My real dad does nothing but point out flaws in my dreams and aspirations, and doesn't congratulate me whenever I achieve my goals despite his fault finding. He'll talk about how he's proud of me to other people, but never around me or to my face. It makes me cry when a man praises me.

It was a total accident. Nintendo has proven at least 3 times they do not understand what made the narrative of star fox 64 work. Maybe most of the dialogue was written by some no name that never ended up being important or something.

Pretty good given Gafford's a homo. He has, however, more or less agreed not to bring disdain for her into the third episode. He's shown some early art of her design. Anon complained she looks a little frumpy, but I don't think it's done in a mean spirited way. Everybody is kinda frumpy. It's charming.
I am exceptionally optimistic and excited for the third part. In five years or so.
If Nintendo was smart they'd retcon Adventure and Command out of existance, and delete all the characters that those two games introduced. Krystal is lame furbait and all the Command characters are bad fanfic OC tier.

Use the L and R buttons to increase the rate at which you can turn. It's almost impossible to do it without them.
Also ignore enemies because you'll get more points in the warp zone.

I like parts of it, namely getting to use unique-looking ships which play differently from each other and the fact that moving to different parts of the strategy map actually affects the terrain you fly over inside the battle sequences, but on the whole it's pretty lackluster and definitely deserves its reputation. Especially bothers me when people say it's a successor or better version of 2 when Command is much more limited in scope and they play almost nothing alike besides both using a strategy map.
