FUCK YOU
THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP BUYING THIS SHIT RUINED HANDHELD GAMING
A handheld should never be this big and cumbersome, it should be able to fit in your pocket like the DS or PSP.
These fucking gaming tablets are useless.
The other thread told me the Deck can't run the Indiana Jones game but the Switch 2 can now that they've announced a port. Is that really true? I need someone to confirm this because I don't own a Deck.
>>718554178
That's because the Deck's a tablet computer and capable of everything any PC is capable of.
The Switch 2 is a mere console, a pitiful existence by comparison.
>>718554393 >That's because the Deck's a tablet computer and capable of everything any PC is capable of.
My keystroke wasting negro, I just finished telling you that.
>>718554838
they could barely emulate the first switch, and newer more recent games also ran like ass due to the emulators being shut down and progress slowing down to a crawl
why do you think they only ever post the title screen and nothing else?
>>718551637 (OP)
They legitimately thought they could kill nintendo by just having a portable troonix craptop with a controller glued to it.
For whatever reason westoids keep forgetting what moves gamers to different platforms is the games, not the form factor.
>>718551637 (OP)
Some people just get angry over nothing due to a preserved "inferior" choice a consumer makes and feel wrongfully morally obligated to push onto everyone what they think is best, having said that I do think the deck is better solely due to the fact that all the games I like aren't on the switch, mainly mother 3
>>718554773 >release handheld with 10 year old mobile chip powering it >tendies still buy it >release literal cardboard >tendies still buy it >release pokemon with nintendo 64 graphics in 2019 >tendies still buy it
hmmm
>>718562072
1) Strong cardboard isn't cheap kiddo.
2) LABO was full of the kind inventiveness and creativity completely lacking in the rest of the gaming industry
3) those LABO packs will be worth a fortune in 20 years
>>718562072
They also figured out how to give their customers free templates so they can use their own cardboard. But don't let facts step in the way of your narrative.
>>718562616
None, it's a pure overpriced trash with its existence invalidated by the Switch 2. I pity the Deck retards who lack the braincells to buy the Switch 2.
>>718562616
I think your missing the point of the steam deck its supposed to be a extension of your pc not a standalone console. The switch is a standalone console, but is only worth it for nintendo games the multiplatform games run better on every other system besides the switch/switch 2
>>718562207
I mean, steamgoys are somehow more brainwashed than "tendies" like me that are on the nintendo camp only because the vita got killed by snoy kikes.
The only difference is said steamgoys are poorniggers and/or actively refuse to give devs any money even when directly pandering to them.
Speaking as a handheld enjoyer, I love the idea of the steam deck, having your steam library on the go is an easy selling point. Especially for someone who takes frequent roadtrips. And my friends that have one haven't stopped gushing about it.
I'm just holding out for a theoretical 2.0 model. I want a bit of a hardware bump before I commit to the thing.
>>718563097
yes but can every other pc just be moved anywhere and everywhere with little to no effort. can you play a full on pc on a plane? most of the multiplatform games play better on the steam deck vs the switch/switch2.
>>718562616
PC in general hasn't gotten a single worthwhile exclusive in years.
Even the few westslop indies that manage to be good end up instantly porting it to the switch.
>>718563324
These days you can get laptops twice as powerful as a goydeck for the same price.
Windows compatibility is also extremely nice to have given to this day using troonix in any way shape or form is still more of a pain in the ass than running any of the gorillion one-click debloat and privacy scripts and using windows as usual. >But I don't play for the graphics I'm fine with pixelslop.
That just means the laptop will get twice the battery time a goydeck does lol.
>>718563325
And THAT is EXACTLY why I'm waiting. I have a Switch 2, so for the moment I'm set.
I at least want to be able to play Elden Ring on decent settings before I jump on a steam handheld. Fingers crossed Valve comes through, I'd love to do some same room Co-op with my buddies without lugging a PC around.
>>718563575
Why did you buy a series X when you have a PS4?
If you got a PS5, you'd have the backwards compatibilty for the 4 and wouldn't have to pay for both PS+ and Xbox Live to play online.
As for me, i have a PS4, Switch 1 and the Laptop stated in a previous post.
>>718563730 >goy gaming laptops
buy an office one retard
both somehow cheaper and more powerful, also no goymer RGB shit serving as a "PLEASE STEAL ME" sign
>>718563797
Seriously? Because I think the Dualsense is the best thing Sony's got going for them. Love the DS4 as well and i even use it for my PC gamepad. But the Dpad on that new Xbox controller's an abomination.
>>718563943
Same, I have a ton of complaints about Sony's bullshit this generation, but that controller is damn near perfect. Only thing I'd change is hall effect sticks, then it might be flawless.
>>718563978
I legit can't think of any game that is on steam that I want to play that isn't on nintendo hardware or that I didn't already play on the vita.
I can think of some, but they tend to be porn games from DLsite and wine/proton have always been a coin flip more than anything when dealing with extremely niche JP games.
>>718564559
To support the devs I like, duh.
Also buying on the JP eshop is far cheaper either way with more money going directly to JP devs, bananza was 55 bucks, so is the new kirby.

You have to remember that this place has a very high concentration of autists and autists cannot understand other people living their lives differently from the way they do. It's impossible for their brains to comprehend it. It's just how they're wired.
>>718565761
As someone with both a middle of the road gaming PC and a switch 1, I find it increasingly difficult to justify buying a gaming PC.
The savings towards upgrading my GPU are honestly likely going to become switch 2 savings.
