It had the potential to be amazing if CDPR didn't go woke as shit, release a broken game, not deliver on half the expectations and didn't make the story so horribly paced despite the great characters and idea.
It also has this same dumb thing many open world games do where they give you an emergent main story where you have a pressuring issue you must resolve (You're literally dying) but then completely wreck the pace of the game by throwing a bunch of side-quests that make zero sense to go after until you actually resolve your pressing matter.
To make it worse, if you DO decide to go for a narratively sensible pace, the game ends abruptly, you lose on a ton of story information that was relegated to sidequests that by all means should've been main story missions, get a worse ending if you complete the story that way, and half the side stories feel "wrong" to do now because it feels chronologically out of sync with your characters' developments.
They made the worst possible pacing decisions - making the actual story contents be divvied into side quests that are entirely optional and not prompted to do aside from a couple, to create a fake image that the game has lots of interesting side content. Sure, it does. Because it's main fucking story content. Even Skyrim did it better with it's shit equally abrupt story because atleast side quests there are their own stories and the main story content is self contained. Phantom Liberty should've been Act 3.
Also, the fashion in this game is retarded and looks like it was made by libtard californian people, same issue as Starfield. This looks like a moronic retard's idea of what future fashion and people would look like. Everyone is vaguely brown and overly colorful clothing and hair.
The only truly good part of this game is the city, it's pretty expertly made with personality.
This CANNOT be the same people that made Witcher 3, but is sure as shit gonna be the people making Witcher 4, so fuck that.
