I tell ya what the gunplay in Alan Wake 2 is fucking terrible and that's ignoring the flashlight bullshit. There's some weird depth perception shit going on where you never hit precisely where you're aiming, it's always off relative to the players position

With how today's remakes are often done to milk more money out of old IPs, pretty low, I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of the environment interactables or any of those minor touches got quietly scrubbed. With that being said, even if I don't expect much of anything, I still have some faint hope that this turns out good and NOT tied to whatever multiverse bullshit modern Remedy is doing.
