>makes Henry gay
It makes Hans gay (which I do take issue with), whether Henry is gay or not is up to the player.
>introduces a black character
My main issue with him is just that you don't get to shit talk him back when he shit talks your culture. On his own I don't mind him because the game never tried to portray him as if he was native or common. But I do mind that they bent over backwards to make him black, he's based on an arab scholar and traveller, but they then combined him with Mansa Musa for seemingly little reason other than making him black and giving him a famous name.
>makes the story about oppressed Jewish people
They're not central to the story, just one of the stepping stones along the way. Also the first jews you meet immediately betray and try to kill you
