What a retard nigger, either live with it or use the iGPU. This is why some people sacrifice FPS for an Intel Ultra 9 instead of a 9950X3D because Intel has a beefy iGPU that can handle OBS, being used for Lossless Scaling or just keep the PC functional while the GPU is maxed out 100% vram during AI tasks

The point is to keep the GPU idle to reduce heat when you’re not gaming, exactly like the issue the OP complained about. If you connect the monitor directly to the GPU some of its VRAM will always be used by Windows which leads to extra heat

That's nothing.
Mine stays at 70C all the time, and goes up to 99C when it's needed for something.
When it goes to 99C, it makes so much noise that it makes my room borderline unhealthy, since the GPU can exceed 80 decibels, and anything above 85 decibels can cause hearing loss if you're exposed to it for a long time.
It's a Zotac RTX3090, I don't recommend anyone buy it.
But it pays my bills, so I put up with it...

That's still gonna work, but that's still too high and wierd, unless you have an oc'd 500W gpu with a slower rpm fan. At that kind of temp the GPU will usually downclock so you're losing performances.
How are you guys' airflow and coolers so bad? You need a proper airflow through the case, you need to clean up the dust and run decent fan curves and it shouldn't get this hot.
My 2 slot 5070ti in an mATX case never goes over 62CΒ° at full load. And my case only has 2 fans for airfow.
