I think it's completely valid to cheat at video games to make them more enjoyable.

agreed. I was getting sick to death of constantly having to search furniture for ammo, half of the fucking game is an ammo-finding simulator. thats not gameplay thats tedium.

I agree with OP. Beating a game fairly is certainly satisfactory, but so is dicking around in it with cheats and just enjoying the chaos.

do the just cause games have ammo cheats? it was ridiculously scarce and having to call on the phone was not intuitive.

i cheat in multiplayer games whenever possible. secretly having advantage over others is pure bliss

I used cheat engine to win at Mahjong in Yakuza

Resident Evil games and their different iterations of the Magnum are a prime example of this. The weapons are insanely fun to use, but you only get like 1-2 magazines of ammo in your run, turning them into boss killers. Cranking up the difficulty and getting infinite ammo for them is fun as fuck.

In multiplayer games it's only fun if you're trolling or relishing the power you have over others. Cheating to win is chinkshit.

I'd never cheat because it taints the developer's vision of the game, but I agree with you. Games are supposed to be fun, after all.
