I think it's completely valid to cheat at video games to make them more enjoyable.

Based if you mean only in singleplayer games.

agreed. I was getting sick to death of constantly having to search furniture for ammo, half of the fucking game is an ammo-finding simulator. thats not gameplay thats tedium.

no more. infinite ammo cheat engaged.

I agree with OP. Beating a game fairly is certainly satisfactory, but so is dicking around in it with cheats and just enjoying the chaos.

Sekiro with infinite spirit emblems turns into a whole other game. A game that is way more fun.

its ironic that the most fun weapons like a rocket launcher are the ones with the least ammo

This and you'll also use the fun weapons more instead of "saving them for boss battles" and shiet

the Witcher 3 has terrible melee combat but can be made into a much better game by making it spellcasting only

do the just cause games have ammo cheats? it was ridiculously scarce and having to call on the phone was not intuitive.

Why the fuck did it stop being common practice to add things like infinite ammo cheats to games?

Resident Evil games and their different iterations of the Magnum are a prime example of this. The weapons are insanely fun to use, but you only get like 1-2 magazines of ammo in your run, turning them into boss killers. Cranking up the difficulty and getting infinite ammo for them is fun as fuck.

thank you anon. they're great games, 2 in particular, but the ammo issue drove me nuts.

playing with just a grendade launcher only can me fun but also challenging as you can kill yourself half the time in close combat

In multiplayer games it's only fun if you're trolling or relishing the power you have over others. Cheating to win is chinkshit.
Anonymous No.718573980 [Report]
You cheated not only the game, but yourself.

I'd never cheat because it taints the developer's vision of the game, but I agree with you. Games are supposed to be fun, after all.
